Target populations of SHEKEL Community Housing:

• · People with cognitive and developmental disabilities
• · People with complex learning disabilities and borderline intelligence and/or various other syndromes
• · People with physical disabilities who have limited mobility and/or require wheelchairs for mobility who also/or have with various other syndromes
• · People on the autism spectrum (ASD) who are high functioning

SHEKEL's community housing is a multiple-disability multi-sector program for adults with varying disabilities who are over the age of 21. It includes:

People with borderline learning disabilities

People with intellectual disabilities

People with PDD

People with high functioning autism

People with physical disabilities (as a result of cerebral palsy or other factors)

People with sensory disabilities (vision and hearing impairments)

People with severe multiple-disabilities requiring round-the-clock care
