In a special broadcast aired on Channel 12 Weekend News, Gabriella Lemberg, a released Hamas hostage and director of SHEKEL’s day center on kibbutz Raman Rachel, returned to the center with Channel 12 correspondent Menachem Horowitz.

The broadcast documents the touching meeting between Gabriella and the wonderful deeply moved center participants on the autism spectrum who have greatly missed her, while Gabriella recounts to Horowitz, the harrowing experience of being held captive for 53 days, together with her daughter Mia and sister Clara. The report depicts Gabriella’s incredible resilience and the fight she waged for the release of her brother and brother-in-law, Fernando and Luis, who were rescued shortly after the broadcast in a heroic military operation after 129 days in captivity.
